Back to School at Scholarship Prep Riverside

Scholarship Prep has implemented a dress code in order to create a sense of unity and ensure a more inclusive environment.

At the beginning of the academic year, each student is provided with one Scholarship Prep sweatshirt and two polos. Distribution typically occurs at the Meet Your Teacher event before the first day of school.

What are the Dress Code Guidelines?

• Navy or White Polo, Button Up, or Sweatshirt
• Khaki, Navy Blue Bottoms (pants, shorts, skirts) or
• Blue or Black Jeans

What Items Are Not Allowed?

• Gym clothes
• Leggings
• Jeans with rips
• Sweatpants
• Sweatshirts with designs or logos that are not Scholarship Prep

Where Can Dress Code Items be Purchased?

Families may purchase dress code items that follow the guidelines above at any store, such as Wal-Mart, Old Navy, French Toast, The Children's Place, Kohl's, or Target.

Limited iron-on logo patches are available at the front office. Patches are not required for the dress code; students may wear any clothing item with or without an SP logo, as long as it follows the guidelines.

Loaners

Students not following the dress code will wear a "loaner" uniform or receive a call home.

Scholarship Prep provides all school supplies and materials students will need throughout the school day. All your child will need to bring is a backpack to transport items to and from school.

Scholarship Prep offers speedy and convenient valet drop-off and pick-up procedures. Simply drive through the campus drop-off and pickup lanes, and a member of our staff will help your student out of the car and guide them onto campus.

For our first day of school, families are welcome to walk their students to the entrance near Dykes Lane. Staff will be at the entrance to greet and guide students to their class door.

For the safety and comfort of all students, we kindly ask that families say their goodbyes at the Dykes Lane entrance so students can begin their first day with confidence.

If you are parking and walking your child to the Dykes Lane entrance, please follow street parking guidelines. For everyone's safety and to maintain smooth traffic flow, kindly avoid parking in the drive-through lane.

Parking for families who would like to walk their students to our Dykes Lane entrance on the first day of school is available at:

• Youth Innovation Center Parking Lot: 9595 Miller Street, Riverside, CA 92503
• Lowe’s Parking Lot: 9851 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92503
• Park-and-walk parking will not be available on campus
• Drive-through/valet drop-off is available on campus

First Day of School Drop-Off and Parking Map

We invite all enrolled families to explore our campus with your student before school begins at our Meet Your Teacher event on Friday, August 15th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Our first day of school is a full day of learning! School begins at 8:15 AM and ends at 3:00 PM.

Breakfasts and lunches are available free to all students each school day. There are no sign ups required. Menus will be available via the Class Dojo app. Teachers will provide Class Dojo information at the August 15 Meet Your Teacher event.

Scholarship Prep Riverside's Before and After School Program is offered free of charge to students enrolled at our schools through our partnership with Arc. Registration is required (one registration for each child).
